What do people think will happen at the end of the manga

What do people think?

will it be a battle to the death

or will they solve it in some other way and if so how?

Like Matsu, I have lots of expectation on Minato.  I think it's going to come down to a showdown between Minato and Minaka.  Minaka wants to usher in a new Age of the Gods; Minato just wants everyone to live happily with each other.  Those two goals aren't necessarily incompatible, but Minaka has been acting as if they were.  Minato is going to have to convince Minaka to change his mind, or force him to.  Minato clearly has the upper hand right now in terms of team power, with 5 of the remaining 8 single numbers (02, 03, 06, 09, and 08 in spirit; 01 is on nobody's team, 04 is on the Discipline Squad and 05 is with Mikogami) while everyone else has lost most of their teams; but first everyone's going to need to work together to turn back the latest military assault on MBI.

Also, we're going to need some sort of resolution to the Kouten/Sekirei Queen issue.  If someone doesn't take Miya's place on Kouten it's presumably going to come crashing into the Earth, which would be bad.  Apparently Miya isn't a candidate to take her old job back for some reason, so someone else is going to have to step up and volunteer to go live on Kouten.  Musubi is the clear favorite, but if it means being parted from Minato I think that's going to be a non-starter.  Oddly enough I could see Karasuba taking on that role.  She is in the process of learning about love and empathy, both through her fight with Musubi and through her Ashikabi Natsuo's rediscovery of enjoyment of life.  She is not so attached to Natsuo that she couldn't bear parting with him, as would be the case with Musubi.  She is a single number and one of the original Discipline Squad members, so she is powerful and experienced at wielding power and authority.  And she has lots to atone for, which serving as Queen would provide her opportunities to do.

It would be so strange is Karasuba took the role but what would be even crazier maybe imposible if minato and all his sekieri ended up being the guardians of it so it didnt crash into earth haha what i want is more story about the sekirei to me ive read through the manga several times and it just feels like a mystery to me and why the hell do they even need to be fighting, how was it decided that they all need to fight etc i swear i either always miss a page or something because i still cant figure it out, I also want to know what is minikas reasoning behind all this, he obviously isnt such a bad guy when you think about it like when i look at him i dont see a villan for some reason, and when miya said the story of the old sekieri it made everything seem majorly incest, i cant remember what chapter it was that she explained about the old sekieri but if there where old sekirei how did the 100 odd sekirei get made haha and dont tell me he got all of them pregnant at the same time because that shits crazy haha, the story line is very confusing to me and i would love to be filled in on the blanks im missing.

as for the end of this I just cant see them fighting against each other i mean think about it how can they fight against each other when that would mean that Kuu would have to fight aswell and shes just a little girl. I hope the end is good otherwise ill die haha

I gave my interpretation of Miya's history lesson in the Q&A thread here.  You might find that helpful.  The ultimate origins of the Sekirei haven't been revealed; all that is known is that 8 ships originally came down from the heavens, each with 108 Sekirei in various stages of development.  One of the 8 went off-course and crashed into the ocean, and that's the one Miya and the rest of the modern Sekireis were in.

The fighting until there is only one left thing is an invention of Minaka.  For most of the manga to date the reason was unknown; some characters speculated that it was just for his own twisted amusement, but that's giving the "super-genius" too little credit.  It has been recently revealed (in Chapter 150) that the reason is to determine the new Sekirei Queen, since Miya gave up that role to marry Takehito and apparently can't go back.

Don't underestimate Ku...yeah she's little but she's brave, and strong enough to neutralize several armored cars and a squad of armed guards at the bridge escape; and she was able to deflect MBI's space-based laser with her plants.  If there's a plant around, she can grow it into an impenetrable jungle and guide its growth pretty much however she wants.

Thank you so much but is that really the way the queen should be decided like shouldnt he of just gone and said all the sekieri who want to try be sekirei queen fight in this battle royal leaving all those weak and cannon fodder sekireis unharmed haha guess that wouldnt of been as fun but its more logical than whats going on i mean the plot for sekieri is all over the damn place just like my spelling haha, its like the writer has gone "ooooo that sounds good ill add that in" around the last moment for things, I love this manga and even the anime but its clear the guy writing this had no idea what he was planning for the backstory or anything in my opinion haha yet for some reason i still love this series as one of my favourite even though it takes 1000 years to get a raw or translation realse.

there are two huge problems that I find with sekirei that I have to say its the whole, power of the ashikabi thing which bewilders me like why cant certain people be ashikabis and why only a select few can because there is no way the power of "fate" decides that shit haha and second what are the sekirei origonaly like if there are 8 ships like you said where did they come from, for what purpose, why is there any reason to leave there planet? are all the sekireis just clones of origonals that we havent met yet and if so wont that destory many peoples feelings towards the series, i know i sound like i dont know much on this series because its been a while since ive last read through because ive been catching up on other series but seriously there are so many plot points and wholes in this manga that I just wanna see filled in so I can love it even more than I already do haha

Well, the fact that it's a complicated story with complicated characters is why it's interesting.  It's more than just T&A and superpowered fights.

The reason not everyone can be an Ashikabi was explained; only the direct descendants of the Sekireis from the time of legends possess the genetic makeup to be Ashikabis.  Also, there were only 107 Sekireis available to be winged in the modern storyline, while presumably there are millions of potential Ashikabis around the world at this point.  There are probably several thousand in Japan alone, and hundreds in Shinto Teito/Tokyo.  So being selected by a Sekirei to become their Ashikabi would quite possibly have a large component of fate to it.

As to where the 8 ships came from and for what purpose, and how did the Sekireis come be on them, like I said that hasn't been revealed.  It's possibly based in Japanese mythology; many manga take that approach.

You might also find it enlightening to check out the TV Tropes page for Sekirei.  Dig around in there, if you're interested in why the author might have made some of the choices she made.

Thank you very much at least now it sounds a bit more like adam and eve kinda thing where everyone came from the 2 execpt it wasnt 2 it was a whole lot which makes sense however it still creepys into my mind about the incest although this once i wont let it bother me hahaha

I hope when this series ends it gets a season 3 of the anime but if it doesnt im not fussed because the manga is amazing to be honest I am really liking it and it hasnt really done anything but get better and better with every chapter
